CARE INFORMATION
- Slowly move the slider when operating. Pulling at an angle may cause disengagement of elements, resulting in
poor waterproof performance or zipper damage. - Avoid overstretching the top and bottom stops.
- AQUASEAL® zippers are sensitive to UV degradation, creasing, delamination, and wear due to friction.
- Folding or crushing the zipper may affect its performance.
- Regular cleaning with clean water and use of a suitable lubricant is advised in order to prevent damage to the tape and seals.
- Do not dry-clean or machine-wash.
After cleaning the zipper, we recommend applying a suitable lubricant or paraffin wax to maintain proper waterproof performance.
Please see the instructions below for each zipper type: For W-seal (closed-end) applications:
- Apply the lubricant to the top seal, as indicated in the diagram.
- Apply a small amount of paraffin wax along the length of the zipper elements.
For single-seal or open-end applications:
- Apply a suitable paraffin wax along the zipper elements.
Note: Do not apply the lubricant directly to the zipper’s elements
- Please do not fold or bend the zippers when storing them.
- Please do not store the garment or goods in conditions exceeding 60°C (140°F).
- Store the zipper completely closed, being careful not to bend it. Leaving the zipper in an open position for an extended
period may cause bending; improper storage can lead to leaks.
